I’m an independent digital strategist and digital literacy trainer with over 20 years of hands-on experience in the digital world—starting as a developer and digital marketing consultant and now focusing on helping NGOs and community organisations unlock the power of digital tools.
Since 2017, I’ve dedicated my work to supporting individuals who work with or fund less fortunate communities in South Africa. I understand how busy NGO teams are, working tirelessly to uplift others, while digital skills often fall to the bottom of the priority list. My goal is to change that—by making digital literacy simple, approachable, and practical.
Everyone deserves to feel comfortable with digital challenges. My greatest reward is seeing the difference digital confidence can make in someone’s life. Whether it’s teaching a team to navigate data platforms or helping someone send their first email, I’m driven by seeing real change and growing independence.
My approach:
Keep it simple.
Empower through knowledge
Guide with step-by-step support—using videos, playbooks, and digital guides designed especially for people who have English as a third language.
Digital Literacy Training
I create custom Digital Literacy Guides & Playbooks: Easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions for daily digital tasks.
I also offer Supportive, interactive online workshops designed for all skill levels.
Data Projects & Digital Transformation
I assist organisations in migrating their data capture processes to digital platforms, making it easier to collect, manage, and secure information. I also set up robust data analysis and visualisation tools—such as Power BI—so you can turn raw data into actionable insights that inform your decisions and showcase your impact.
Digital Strategy Consulting
Practical advice and planning so your organisation can choose the best tools for your needs.
I can also assist in sourcing software that is specifically priced for NGOs.
Digital Project Management Support
I provide hands-on project management support, particularly for digital initiatives such as app development. From early-stage planning and design to release coordination and ongoing community engagement, I help guide projects through every phase of development. My approach ensures that digital tools aren’t just built—but embraced and used meaningfully by the communities they’re meant to serve.
My journey into the NGO sector began by chance when I was invited to assist at a conference in 2017. I quickly realised how much NGOs, especially in rural areas, needed basic digital comfort—many were still relying on paper. I decided to focus my expertise where it could make the most significant impact, helping organisations and individuals take their first confident steps into the digital world.
Let’s work together to grow your team’s digital confidence—and multiply your impact.
